Gabi Campanario, visiting Berlin and taking part in the Berlin Maraton on Sunday, gave a demo at the Neptunbrunnen and spoke about his short visit September 1990 in Berlin at the very same place – then still situated in East Berlin, capital of the GDR (German Democratic Republic).

One month later, the East German state had disappeared… being unified with West Germany.
